Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 15 – Thorn in my Flesh

There’s a passage in the Bible, in Corinthians, where the apostle Paul talks about “a thorn in the flesh“.  I have heard it said that this is some kind of physical ailment, but it’s not specific as to what it is exactly.  I have a thorn in the flesh, of sorts, that I have not told too many people about, but today I will be stepping out of my comfort zone and revealing it in this blog.

This thorn in my flesh, is something that causes me sorrow, when I observe other people suffering from the same delusion as I do.  My issue is this, when I look into a mirror, I have rarely been happy with the person that I see, “The man staring back from the glass”.

Master Key System - Nature's Greatest MiracleI’ve seen a man whose skin is too dark, who’s too fat, or who’s not good looking enough. A guy who’s not tall enough, and whose teeth are not white enough, and has an awful smile. I know that the way I perceive myself is distorted, but it has been my thorn for a while.  And oddly enough, as I mentioned above, I know that other people, many times, feel the same way about themselves; however, I know that they shouldn’t, and I also know that I shouldn’t.

And this bring me to something that we have done in the Master Key Master Mind Alliance course.  Og Mandino, has written a book, that many of you may have heard of called The Greatest Salesman in the World, and we have been reading “The Scrolls” that begin in chapter 8.  We are to read a scroll, three times a day, for thirty days, starting with chapter one.  Right now we are on scroll four, and we’ve been reading this scroll now for ten days, and it’s slowly disintegrating my thorn.

MKMMA - Greatest Salesman in the WorldIf you doubt that affirmations work, and that they have no effect on a person, I beg to differ. From The Scroll Marked IV, the following lines have stuck in my mind.  Many of these things I have never thought about, but should have realized.  I’ve felt this for others; however, I never really applied them to myself.  These are snippet’s from The Scroll Marked IV that speak to me.

I am nature’s greatest miracle.

Since the beginning of time never has there been another with my mind, my heart, my eyes, my ears, my hands, my hair, my mouth.  None that came before, none that live today, and none that come tomorrow can walk and talk and move and think exactly like me.  All men are my brothers yet I am different from each.  I am a unique creature.

None can duplicate my brush strokes, none can make my chisel marks, none can duplicate my handwriting, none can produce my child…

And most of all, this next phrase has embedded in my psyche:

I am a unique creature of nature.

Also:

I am not on this earth by chance.  I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand.  Henceforth will I apply all my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I strain my potential until it cries for mercy.

In addition, Mark Januszewski, during a few conference calls has said, “The whole is greater than the sum of the parts”, and hearing that several times, and reading this month’s scroll, have caused something in my subconscious to click.  It’s not the color of my skin, my weight, my looks, my stature, my teeth, or my smile, that make me who I am, those are just the parts; the unique parts.  I am unique, and I will now look at the whole Ed, not the individual parts of Ed.  (And no, I don’t make it a habit to speak in third person :) )

MKMMA - The Whole is GreaterI am nature’s (God’s) greatest miracle, and since taking the MKMMA course, I have bettered myself in many ways, and this particular change in me was unexpected, but I’m grateful for it. Please, if you ever feel about yourself, as I described my feelings above, remember that you are God’s greatest miracle, and He loves you.  I love you too.

I will end this post with a video.  I saw this video months ago, and it made me cry.  I felt bad for the women in the video who had a skewed image of themselves, and at the time I never realized that I was doing the same thing to myself.  I will never see myself the same way after taking Mark J’s, MKMMA course.  From now on, I will see the whole Ed, and quit focusing on my individual parts, because those parts include something that I am very proud of, and that’s my heart, and my love for others.

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 14 – Rudy (The Movie), and Persistence

RUDY - Master Key Master Mind AllianceFor week 14 we were asked to watch a movie, and then blog about the persistence that the protagonist showed in the movie.  I chose to watch a movie that I had never seen before, and as the title of this post reveals, I chose Rudy, starring Sean Astin, as Daniel E. ‘Rudy’ Ruettiger.

The movie starts with Daniel Eugene “Rudy” Ruettiger, who grew up in a steel mill town, and his Definite Major Purpose (DMP) in life is to play football for Notre Dame. This was going to be a difficult task, because he was not a big man.  In fact, the real Rudy Ruettinger, was only 5″6, and when I say “only”, I don’t mean anything by it, as that’s how tall I am.  :)

The game, and school, mean the world to his father, and Rudy’s dreamed of playing there since he was a kid.  His brother’s gave him a hard time though, and kinda babied him all his life, so he wouldn’t get hurt playing football with the neighborhood kids.  They would have him play positions where he would not get hurt, but he insisted on playing other, much harder positions, and he was all heart where ever he played.  The following clip is from Rudy, and it was one of my favorites.  It shows how much heart Rudy had, and how NOTHING was gonna stop him.

When I saw that they were trying to protect their little brother, I thought to myself that that’s what people tend to do to each other.  Your parents may try to protect you, and tell you to get real, and quit dreaming.  Your friends may say that you’re a day dreamer, and you should get a real job.  Your acquaintances may think that your dreams are foolish, and they may think that because they don’t want you getting hurt, or because they’re jealous.  Our dreams, by the time that we reach adulthood, are often put on the back burner and forgotten.  All because we are told to “get real”, and follow the 95% that are miserable with their lives, and/or just getting by financially.

So, Rudy, at one point in the movie was dissuaded by one of his high school teachers, a priest, just as he was going to board a bus that was taking students to tour the Notre Dame campus.  Rudy was excited, and right when he was the next person that was to get on the bus, that’s when the teacher stopped him and asked him what he thought he was doing, and told him he would never go to Notre Dame, because he didn’t have the grades.  Rudy walked away from the bus that day, and this delayed his actually playing for Notre Dame about four years.

One day, during those four years, his best friend, someone who always believed in him, had an accident at that steel mill where they both worked, and Rudy saw his best friend get killed.  This reignited his Definite Major Purpose in his life, and he focused once again on what was really important to him, playing football at Notre Dame.  (Spoiler alert!)  He finally did achieve what he always dreamed of, although it wasn’t easy.

This made me think about an interesting thing that we learned in the Master Key System. We were taught something called, The Law of Dual Thought.  The Law of Dual Thought states that, “Thought is a combination of ideation and feeling.  We can attach any feeling to a thought we want.”  We were also taught to read our DMP’s with enthuuuuuusiasm, like Mark Januszewski likes to say, and emotion.  This gets our goals and dreams into our subconscious, and creates a demand in our subby.  This demand causes our subconscious mind to work 24/7 to meet the demand we put on it.  It’s like emotion is the glue that makes our dreams stick, and become real.

I once read somewhere, that at times of heightened emotion, is when change happensemotion in a person. Infusing our DMP with emotion creates changes in our subconscious, and change happens.  When Rudy’s saw his best friend killed, his emotions were heightened, and Rudy’s mindset changed, and his life changed.  He stopped listening to the people that were jealous of his dreams, or were trying to “protect” him, and started living by the compass – with complete focus on his purpose.

I could go on and on, but I’ll stop.  These are the most important things that I gleaned from watching this movie.  First of all, hold on to your dreams, and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t accomplish something that you set your mind to.  Also, infuse your dreams with emotion, and create a demand on your subconscious, so it will help you achieve the things you want whether it’s playing for Notre Dame, or owning a red Lamborghini.  You CAN do it… Just FOCUS with a BURNING DESIRE, and never be dissuaded.

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 13 – A Realization, Pleasure and Pain

Week 13 of the Master Key Master Mind Alliance takes place during Christmastime, and I find that fact kind of ironic.  The number 13 is said to be an unlucky number, but Christmas is a time when we reflect on what God did for us, in that He sacrificed his only Son so that our sins would be forgiven.  Christ is the sacrificial Lamb of God, and our Savior.

Ok, enough of my observations.  This week of the MKMMA was very interesting.  I learned 3 things that are just awesome, and I may never have realized these things had it not been for the Master Key Master Mind Alliance.

First, being that it was Christmas, I learned where I got my old blueprint from.  I learned how much influence my family has had on me all these years, and that some of these traits I like, but many I do not.  Some of these traits stick out like a sore thumb now, and in the past, I never even noticed them.  They are things that I’ve observed all my life, and emulated (unconsciously), but since doing the MKMMA exercises my mindset has changed, and I now realize that I don’t want those behaviors in my own life.  WOW!  It was a shocking, but welcomed experience for me.

Second, I’ve discovered how much these Master Key Master Mind Alliance exercises have really changed me, and have become a part of me.  It’s not only because of what I observed as I mentioned above, but because of what I’m going to mention in the next paragraph.  This entire experience has blown me away.

The third thing is NARC.  What’s NARC you ask?  NARC stands for Neurological Associative Reactive Conditioning.  This is a way to leverage our minds, and put the pedal to the metal in getting our goals accomplished.

There are two thing that drive us as humans – pleasure and pain.  The desire to have pleasure in our lives, and the need to avoid pain.  These are the motivating factors in our lives, and the following application (NARC), is how we leverage this fact.

We have been drilling our goals, dreams, aspirations into our subconscious for 13 weeks now, and they have become a part of us.  Imagine if someone wanted to rob you of your dreams, and aspirations.  It would be like someone trying to rob you of one of your arms or legs.  You would fight, scratch, pull hair, gouge eyeballs, and do whatever you’d have to do to keep from losing one of your extremities.

So, we’ve been documenting our goals in the form of our dream boards (Movie Poster), our Definite Major Purpose (DMP), and we’ve been reading affirmations three times a day, and writing these blog posts as a journal, along with some other readings.  Now imagine taking all of this, and literally throwing it in the trash.  Something what we are so attached to, and just TRASHING it.  That’s like losing a limb, when it has become so ingrained in your mind.  PAIN!  PAIN!  PAIN!

And when I say literally throw these things in the trash, I mean literally.  Mark instructed us to take all of our materials, and put them in a trashcan.  Just writing this post, and visualizing it, is making my stomach turn.

Next, we are to create a wonderful memory that we can reward ourselves with (pleasure).  I, for example, will have some pictures of when my son and I took a 6 mile hike to a lake, and camped there for a couple of nights.  I have a fond, vivid memory of my son hooking on to a fish while we were fishing, and the surprised look on his face, and how he panicked when the fish hit his bait.  Luckily I have the pictures to use for this exercise.

Now, your goals and aspiration are in the trash (pain), do you want to hang on to them? Then do the things that you know you have to do to reach your goals.  Mine are, call 20 prospects, that I bought from online leads, per week.  Go to 50 businesses and get business cards, so that I can mail letters to them.  Show my business to at least 3 people per week, and a several other tasks that I know will make me successful.

The pleasure comes when, at the end of each day, I finish my tasks.  Then, and only then, can I take my goals out of the trash, and embrace them again.  After rejoicing about being able to do this, I get the pleasure of looking at pictures of me and my son at Lake Valentine in the High Sierra’s, during that awesome trip, and relive the wonderful time that we had there (pleasure).  POWERFUL!!!

Once again, I learned where I got some of my less than desirable habits.  I learned how Much my goals are becoming ingrained in me, and are actually becoming a part of me. And I learned how to leverage pleasure and pain, to reach my goals, and ensure I follow through with the things that I must do to reach them.  Thank you Master Key Master Mind Alliance.

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 12 – Coincidence?

This week something very interesting happened.  I have been to my veterinarians dozens of times before, but never with a goal to rescue dogs in mind.  My goal really had nothing to do with my veterinarian, I just love my dog, and dogs in general; although my dog is the best dog ever.  :)

I took my dog to see our vet for a routine procedure, and that night there happened to be a waiting room full of dogs, when I had never seen that before in all the years that we’ve taken our dog, Keysha, there.  We walked in, and Keysha seemed to be at her best behavior, not growling, or barking at any of the other K9′s.

Soon, a woman named Lori walked into the room with an Australian cattle dog, that she later told me was a puppy, about 1 year of age.  The dog was rambunctious, and she was very patient with it.  Lori told me that she specialized in rescuing “herding dogs” and that the puppy she was there with was named Ralphie.

After talking to her for a bit, she told me that there were many organizations that would help people like me who wanted to rescue dogs.  I had no idea that any organization was out there to help people like me, but I was stunned, and grateful to hear that I had options.

The story is a nice one, but the most amazing things are these facts.

  1. One of my goals is to rescue dogs, and find awesome owners for them
  2. I was going to research rescuing dogs
  3. I have been thinking about rescuing dogs since the Master Key Master Mind Alliance started
  4. It’s part of my Definite Major Purpose (DMP) to do so, and it has been for a while now
  5. It’s on my “Movie Poster” (Dream board)

Movie Poster

Lori told me where to go to get information.  She told me that I had options for help to get started, and she gave me here phone number and email address in case I had any questions.

You may thing that this was a coincidence, but I would beg to differ.  Things like this happen sometimes, and we thing nothing of it.  Sometimes, if we really stop to think about it, we may find that nothing that happens to us is due to chance, but it’s because we brought it upon ourselves.

I think that we all need to stop and think about the seemingly unimportant things that happen to us.  If we do, we may find that they are not actually, “unimportant”, but that God’s trying to tell us something.  He’s trying to help us, but we have to be attuned to what he has to reveal.

Let me put it this way.  Sometime things occur in our lives, and it seems as though it’s just life unraveling day by day, as it always has for us, but if we really stop to think about our daily lives, we may actually RECOGNIZE something important for us, that we can RELATE to our purpose in life, then ASSIMILATE its meaning, and APPLY it to benefit our purpose in life (R2A2).

Things in our lives happen for a reason, like I told Lori.  Some may consider it coincidence, but I think it’s important to pay attention and really consider the seemingly mundane occurrences in our everyday lives, because we may miss something that could be pivotal for us.  If I didn’t take time to think, I know this incident would have slipped by unnoticed.

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 11 – Childlike Belief

MKMMA Master Key SystemIn the Charles Haanel’s, Master Key System, in chapter 11, he reminds us of the Bible scripture that says, “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them” (Mark 11:24).  Another translation, and the one that I use states, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.“ ~NKJV

The scripture immediately before verse 24 states, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” (Mark 11:23, NKJV).  I would think that these two scriptures would go hand in hand, and not be separated when talking about belief, but at least in this case, they were.

Scolding - MKMMA

It’s easy to see why they are both important.  We, as humans, run into many mountains in our lifetime, and some of them, without strong belief, can crush us.  We must believe! It’s very important but, sadly, the desire to believe is trained out of us from a very young age.

Think about the little boy, or girl, when talking about how much they love to swim exclaims, “When I grow up, I’m gonna have an ginormous swimming pool inside of my house, and I’m gonna buy one for my neighbor, and my best friend, and my cousin Alex.”  What would most rational adults say to a statement like that?  ”Oh, no.  That’s not possible”. “Oh, that’s silly, stop dreaming and get real.”  ”Now come on Paul, stop day dreaming, and act like a grown up”.  On and on it goes, until we forget how to dream, and dream big, or we are afraid if we do, we’ll be ridiculed.

Dream Big MKMMA

I’ll tell you this, if not dreaming means you have grown up… Then no thank you, I’d rather dream like a child, than waste away as an adult.  When dreams are dashed, so are beliefs, and when you think of the young dreamer, don’t you think that he truly believes his dreams with all his heart.  I think so.

I decided, even before starting the Master Key Master Mind Alliance, that I will not settle for being an adult in the sense that my dreams no longer matter.  I’ve learned, while in Mark Januszewski’s, MKMMA course, how to vividly dream again, how to truly think, and how to truly believe, and connect with my Lord and Savior.  I can see my dreams and my future clearly, and it’s so bright, that I have to wear shades.  I dream big… Like a child.

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 10 – Our Marvelous Qualities

In the Master Key System, Charles Haanel says, “Spiritual power is superior because it exists on a higher plane.”

Mark Januszewski, and The Fabulous Davene, told us at the beginning of the Master Key Master Mind Alliance, that they would not be guiding us in regard to what our goals and aspirations should be.  They told us that we should decide for ourselves, and that we should follow our own paths.  I’m grateful that they have given us this freedom, because it allow us to follow our own course, without any resistance from other outside influences.  We can follow what is important to us, based on what we feel in our world within.

In regard to spiritual power, I decided long ago, before even starting the Master Key Master Mind Alliance, that God is my spiritual power, and He is my superior, existing on a higher plane.  He is who I choose to follow, and whose principles I’ve decided to bond with.  He is my omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent creator.

He is why we exist in the first place, and why we are allowed to continue to breath life into our being.  He is our guide, our compass, and the reason we are allowed to have blood coursing through our bodies.

Hannel also states that, “…as the plant reaches down into the mineral world and touches it with the mystery of Life, so the Universal Mind [God] reaches down into the human mind and endows it with new, strange, wonderful and even marvelous qualities.”  To me, this means that we have the promise from God, that if we believe with our hearts and minds, we can have what we desire, as long as it’s good, and in accordance with God’s will and righteousness.

God reaches into us, his creations, and endows us with His power.  This is true, provided that we believe, and when we believe, we are empowered.  He is our creator, He is one with us, and He wants us to believe, and truly have.  Then, He will reach down into our minds, and endow us with marvelous qualities that we may stumble to ascertain.

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 9 – The Law of Substitution

Character is not a thing of chance, but it is the result of continued effort.  If you are timid, vacillating, self-conscious, or if you are over-anxious or harassed by thoughts of fear or impending danger, remember that is axiomatic that “two things cannot exist in the same place at the same time.”

Exactly the same thing is true in the mental and spiritual world; so that your remedy is plainly to substitute thoughts of courage, power, self-reliance and confidence, for those of fear, lack and limitation.  ~ Charles Haanel

The statements above got me thinking about how most people think.  Most people are programmed by the environment that they exist in.  They are programmed by their parents, their friends, their teachers, their peers, their co-workers, their bosses, and the media.  The list doesn’t end there to be sure.

Our parents, although well meaning, bombard us with words and phrases like, “NO”, “You can’t do that”, “It’s not possible”, and so on, and then along come the “friends”.  Our friends tell us things like, “That’s stupid”, “That can’t be done”, “You can’t do that, and so on.  Enter the teachers, “Oh, Bob, that’s impossible”, “Finish your education, and get a good job”, “You are not as smart as Sara”, and on and on.  I can go on to peers, co-workers, bosses, and the media, but you get the idea.

For 20 – 60 years we are programmed by society to conform to the “norm”, and for what end result?  To be like everyone else; is that really what we want?  When we were kids, did we say, “When I grow up, I want to work in a cubicle for 45 years, and retire broke”?  No, we wanted to be Superman, and save the world.  I personally wanted to be a doctor, and save lives.

What ends up happening is that we mold ourselves into society, because we want to be accepted by the people that we know.  We get hammered with all the negativity, and debauchery flowing from the media.  All this, day after day, for years, and then what? We lose sight of our dreams, aspirations, and hope that we had as young children. Our light is eventually smothered, and we are left in a dim world, without the color of courage, power, self-reliance and confidence.  Things we had as children; however, all is not lost.

The Law of Substitution states that we cannot think about two things at the same time. This is exactly what the statements by Haanel, which I started this post with, is saying to us.  First, he says, “two things cannot exist in the same place at the same time”, and second he states, “your remedy is plainly to substitute courage, power, self-reliance and confidence”, then things we desire in our life, “for those of fear, lack, and limitation”, then things most of us are programmed with, and don’t want in our lives.

I know now that the law of substitution is true.  Since starting the Master Key Master Mind Alliance course, I’ve learned about this law and have been using it with great success.  Substitute the thoughts you want to entertain, for those that are harmful, and don’t you like fear, lack, and limitation.  You have a choice, you can dwell in other people’s reality, or flourish using the law of substitution.

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 8 – Grateful

Anthony Robbins - MKMMAThis week, I will keep my post short, and give you some of the main observations from what I have learned so far.  I am a big Anthony Robbins fan, arguably the most popular personal development guru out there, and I love what he does for people.  I believe that he has a heart for the people that choose to listen to him, and a heart for the people that don’t.  I believe that he is a man of integrity, and that he loves God.  This is what I have gathered, based on all the programs that I’ve bought from him; however, I personally don’t consider Tony Robbins personal development programs to be the best anymore.

Mark & Davene Januszewski

I BELIEVE, in my heart, and in my spirit, that the team of Mark and Davene Januszewski any of Robbin’s programs.  I believe that what the Januszewski’s have done with their Master Key Master Mind Alliance program far exceeds anything any other personal development guru has tried to accomplish.  This MKMMA course, I know, is something done from their hearts, and they want us all to succeed in any personal goal that we might have.  They also, and most of all, want us to find our own personal BLISS, and live it.

Mark and Davene have immersed us, their MKMMA members, in a total and complete, positive mental environment, without directing us as to what our personal goals should be.  We, are finding our own way, and all our paths are different.

Here is what I have found.  Each and everyone of us is unique (obvious), but most of us don’t realize what our true potential is (we’re lost).  We do have the ability to find our way, and find our bliss, and with the Master Key Master Mind Alliance, we have a short cut to our personal purpose.

MKMMA - ConfidenceI have never felt more sure of where I’m going.  I have never felt more confidence about my personal outcome.  I have rarely been more confident of myself, and I can’t tell you what a relief that is, as I have mentally, physically, and financially struggled through life for the last several years.  For this, I’m grateful, first of all to God, and then to the Januszewski’s.  Thank you!

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 7 – The Clock Is Dead To Me

Master Key System ThinkI sat for 15 minutes, like I’ve done for the past month and a half, quietly, and without movement.  This time, I was to sit and think about a friend, and see him in my mind like I last saw him.  I was to visualize every detail of the setting that we were last in, including distinctly seeing my friends face.  My friend’s name is Paul, and he has been my best friend since we were both in Boy Scouts as children, and I last saw him on Saturday night.

During my sit this week I was also instructed in the Master Key System, to talk to him, in my thoughts of course, about a mutual interest, and watch his expression change, and see him smile.  Next, I was to tell my friend a story of adventure, then see his face light up as I tell him my story. Charles Haanel says that if we can do this, we are doing well, and making excellent progress.

MKMMA SitI sat for the entire 15 minutes as instructed, without moving; however, at some point during my sit, my nose started to itch.  It was killing me, and I wanted to bring my hand to my nose and scratch, but I knew that I couldn’t.  The next thing I did though, was to take the thoughts in my mind from the scene with my friend, to wondering what the clock read at that point in time.  I was wondering how many more minutes of this itch, that I could not scratch, I would have to endure, when suddenly I realized what Mark Januszewski has been trying to get through to us the last couple of weeks.

Mark asked us to buy a compass, and instructed us to wear it around our neck, or tape it to our watch where the face is.  He told us to do this so that we remember that we should not live by the clock, but live by the compass.  DING, DING, DING!!!

It occurred to me right then, that by doing this mental exercise (the sit), I was working on my Definite Major Purpose (DMP), but when I was focused on the clock, and what time it was, and when this darn “sit” was going to end so that I could scratch my nose, I realized then and there, that’s how most of us live our lives… By the clock.

Consider this; the alarm goes off in the morning, we get out of bed, we get ready and head out the door, so that we will be on time to our job, because we have an itch to scratch called bills, and debt, and we get to scratch them when we get paid.  Then, our stomach growls; we’re hungry, another itch, so we look to the clock, for noon to roll around to scratch that itch.  Next, we get the, I want to go home itch, and that’s an itch we can’t scratch until the clock makes its way around to 5PM.  Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick tock, is the rhythm that dictates most of our lives.  The tick, tock, of the clock.

Clock Compass MKSFreedom from the clock is what Mark is trying to teach us, some of us may get it, and some of us may not get it yet.  We all must learn to live our lives with purpose; have something to strive for.  Find our bliss, or like Mark likes to call it our dharma.  To accomplish this, we cannot look to the clock.

Does the clock give you direction?  No, the compass does.  Without a compass you cannot find your way, and before you know it… Tick, tock, tick, tock.  Your life has passed you by, because you had no direction.  You, and your life, were enslaved by the clock.  I will not go down this way; therefore, the clock is dead to me.

Dead Clock MK

Master Key Master Mind Alliance Week 6 – A Very Visual Week

Week 6 of the Master Key Master Mind Alliance was a very visual week.  By that I mean we put together a “Movie Poster” per Mark Januszewski’s instructions.  This movie poster is more commonly known as a dream board, and although Mark said it took him 20 minutes to put his together, it actually took me 6 hours… Uh, such is the way my mind works.  :/ Below, for your viewing pleasure, is a picture of mine.

Master Key Master Mind Alliance - Movie Poster

We were told to write/type our goals, from our Definite Major Purpose, into the 4 shapes that you see in the picture.  For example if you look at the upper right hand corner of my movie poster, you’ll see a blue rectangle.  In that rectangle are some is one of my “Personal Pivotal Needs”, a goal that I will accomplish, along with my target date.  I included a picture of this below.

Personal Pivotal Needs - Master Key Master Mind AllianceI Photoshopped my head into the picture of “me”, next to the BMW, and into the picture of a person doing training at a network marketing event.  I had to find just the right picture, and I had to Photoshop my face in, because otherwise, it pains me to look at it if it’s sloppy.  There you go, a peek into my psyche.

Although it took me some time to finish this, I enjoyed the final product.  This, to me, has been the most enjoyable task that we’ve had to complete.  We also were told to get creative, and print out small pictures of our Movie Poster, and use them as a bookmark, put them around the house, and so on.

We are really saturating our mind with what the kind of life that we want to manifest for ourselves.  We’ve done so much, so far, and we are only into week 6.  It’s hard for me to imagine what more we could possibly do to condition our minds for success.  I just know that I trust Mark and Davene are going to shock us with more awesome exercises to change our mental blueprint for the better.  I can’t wait!
